Currently I am running Ubuntu 11.10 with FZ 3.5, on a different
computer, and it's working fine.
What happened was that while working I'd lost control over FZ window, no
way to close or minimise it, or run any command. Only solution was open
a term and do killall

swapping and freezing the system. After killing the process things go back to

Solution #28 by Maxime Doucet worked for me:
* go to facebook -> account -> privacy settings -> applications and websites
settings -> "Remove unwanted or spammy applications" -> remove Gwibber
I also tried removing .config/gwibber directory from my home, with no
luck.
