Is the libdirectfb-1.2-9 and libdirectfb-1.2-9 dependancy upon
libts-0.0-0, a configuration tool for pointing devices, necessary?
libdirectfb's dependancy upon libts seems OTT, perhaps libdirectfb
recommending libts would be more suitable, as libts is only used in the
minorit
the libwps-0.1-1 package hasn't been updated to depend upon
libwpd-0.9-9, and still depends upon libwpd8c2a. Is this because
libwps-0.1-1 has been replaced by libwpd-0.9-9?
I thought this may be the case, as there are no libwps-0.1-1 dependants,
but libreoffice still provides Microsoft Works suppo

After upgrading to Kubuntu 10.04, kernel 2.6.32-21, the computer boots
and runs extremely slowly.
It took about 30 mins to boot.
Reverting back to 2.6.31-20, the computer runs smoothly again, boot time
is more like 60 secs.

Perhaps, if this can't be fixed in previous versions, it would be
possible to downgrade to a previous version of Package Kit when it
didn't require "apt to have a spawned backend" (final post on bug
17750).
So atleast then, other users won't download this version and be

I've tested Totem and the problem appears to have been corrected.
I've also tested the songs in VLC and they play fine.
