it failed on armhf and riscv
After reproducing on armhf I found a better way to fix it on all architectures
with a patch that fix detection of libcrypt during compilation.

While looking for a FTBFS to work on I came across cvm-0.97-3.1build2
which was failing to build from source on all architectures.
Looking at the log it appears it is failing to link against libcrypt and
a simple addition to debian/rules seems to fix the build.
