glxgears seems to run just fine. I have GeForce 6100a embaded in mother
of an amd64 machine. I had compiz running before I upgraded from 8.04
to 8.1.
I use the nvidia-glx-177 glx driver as is recomended by the hardware
drivers program. Anyway, I tr

I tried to uninstall all nvidia drivers and than to reinstall them (because
couldn't run compiz ufter upgrade to hardy 8.1)
May be I uninstaled too much...
Now when I try to select the proposed nvidia driver at the
system/admistration/hardware drivers I get this message
