Turning of the "Place Window" Addin in Compiz fixes the behaviour. I
assume it would work to add Flash to the fixed list in Compiz Settings
but I have no idea how to extract the window from Firefox as flash it´s
wrapped. Any ideas?

It is critical. People have a bricked laptop after the update. That´s
the worst case scenario. Another console aware friend even called me
since switchting to the terminal didn´t work as well and he´s a unix
guy and had never heard of ubuntus safemode. It´s really pretty bad.

Hi everybody. Just wanted to let you know that todays patch didn't
improve the situation on my girlfriends 7010d. btw: lspci says it's the
dreaded 855GM chipset. Any advice on how I could improve the experience
for her or get back 3D?

I can confirm this bug on my girlfriends Fujistu Lifebook 7010d. I also
upgraded her yesterday. Right now I have her on the generic driver which
obviously breaks 3D for her. Is there already a solution or a workaround
or will I have to reinstall for her from scratch? Obviously there is

disable WPA on the Fritz! Box but still, a fix would be better...

Yup. Can confirm this. It's sluggish on my Dell M1330 intel965. I also
enabled UXA. Intrepid was really good. EXA is really slow whereas UXA is
okayish but give weird effects with compiz light slow fading out.
For brown:
In a terminal type:
sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
change the line that reads:
Glad it's working for you. But here on the Dell 505 it's the same thing.
I also didn't see any related updates.
