[Bug 481846] [NEW] update manager crashes

Public bug reported: I get the update manager notifying me that there are updates and when I click on 'install updates' the update manager crashes. When I try to report the problem automatically, it seems that this also does not work. See the screenshot for what happens next. ProblemType: Bug A
