I have this problem trying to install Kubuntu Intrepid on a PC, Intel LGA775
with Hitachi CM715 monitor attached. I incidently was trying to install 32 bit
first and had the problem. however Intrepid 64 bit version does not have this
problem and I installed it smoothly within 15 minutes.

Ideally this feature to offer end-user to activate slow keys should be removed
at all.
It reminds me MS approach to action on behalf of end-user. I think I can do it
better for my wife then Bill G. would do.

I'm sure there was a reason for a developer to implement such feature as a slow
key for certain category of end-users.
Unfortunately it happened that the developer treated a headache by cutting the
head.
