Installing this font through the Ubuntu Software Center, fonts-mplus
049-1, and running Abiword, abiword 2.9.2+svn20120603-8, I can confirm
that only four styles are shown by Abiword, in comparison I loaded
leafpad and all the different styles were shown. Font Manager is not
installed o

I can confirm this happens on a Xubuntu 12.10 32 bit system, I
downloaded a a pack of png files placed them onto freshly created ntfs
partion, auto-mounted in this case, and searching for .png returned 0
results, upon clicking deep search all files were returned.

I think its worth mentioning that for me the USB system stops responding
to plugging in anything after the usb mouse stops responding

I believe I am having this same problem and will attach my files as well
for comparison, I can note that this problem has also occurs for me
while running OpenSuse, and seems to occur mostly in relation Logitech
mice since this seems to be related if not the same to a bunch of usb
mice not respondi
