I twice downloaded the ISO via HTTP. Both times were incomplete -- the
connection was lost and files ended up less than 699 MB.
Then I used torrent and it worked. http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-

I am unable to boot Ubuntu 10.04 final release from Live CD on my Dell
Optiplex 380 and Precision M4300. The latter one runs Ubuntu 9.10 well.
...never tried the Optiplex with Ubuntu.
The screen just freezes with the image attached.
...read some people having the same problem.
