Workaround:
- sudo apt-get install devilspie
- save this script "(begin(minimize)(quit))" in a file "minimize.ds". You can
put this file in home directory.
- Add new keyboard shortcut for command "devilspie minimize.ds";

My E169 work now with 2.6.31-15-50 kernel. Tested on two machines with
Karmic fresh install. You must delete the old connection and create new
one.

I just create a symlink for 10-hinting-full.conf and removed 10-hinting-
slight.conf on my laptop. Of course, full hinting is my selected option
in Appearance Preferences -> Font Rendering Details.
