I also have the /usr/lib/nvidia/libGL.so.1.xlibmesa broken symlink, I
dont believe that is the issue.
What does /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions look like? Does it have
libglx.so.???
My system has 2 symlinks.
1. /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so -> libglx.so.185.18.14
2. /usr/lib/xorg/mo
After doing the intrepid to jaunty upgrade I restarted the system to not
have desktop effects enabled and was unable to enable it. >> compiz

I am experiencing a long pause during boot on my Dell Vostro 1500
notebook at the ubuntu splash screen where the status bar is about 1/4
the way along the ubuntu logo and receiving the below excerpt in dmesg.
Also I have to ifdown and ifup my network card everytime I reboot to get
network access.
Has this option been added yet? I can't seem to find anywhere to remove
this applet from my notification area and the icon is always there and I
don't even use it.
