Rastersoft released a .deb-file here
https://www.rastersoft.com/programas/ding.html which I could easily
install without uninstalling anything first. After a reboot everything
is working again.
So anyone who doesn't want to wait until the fix comes via the normal
update process can install the .de

Ubuntu 24.04 Some image thumbnails no long
I have made the following observation which I can reproduce:
First I download a jpg-file (e.g. from wikipedia) to my desktop. There
is no thumbnail generated and a new entry in
/home/username/.cache/thumbnails/fail appears.
If I delete /home/username/.cache/thumbnails/fail and press F5 on the

This Bug affects me too. Lenovo Thinkpad x250 with Docking-Station.
BIOS is showing up via Display Port, but when/after loading GRUB the monitor
gets no signal.
