I just got an acer aspire 7540. with bios version 1.7 i was getting
kicked off my wireless network constantly. just updated to 1.8 and am
not having any problems.

I was having the random shutdowns and losing my wireless connection too.
i just updated my acer aspire 5610 laptop bios to v3.6 and it all seems
to be working fine now.
