I don't know if it's related or not, but since a month or so back I can
not drag or move *any* window. Fully updated Ubuntu 13.10 with Unity
7.1.2 and Compiz 0.9.10.2.
While I have a dual-screen setup, I can't drag a window even withing a
single screen. I can maximize, minimize and resize normally
Commenting on Bryce's request for a use case for this.
One use case would be how I use the Awesome window manager at work: I
have two physical screens, on one I can have my text editor doing
whatever programming is needed, on the other I switch between a
workspace (called "tag" in awesome) contain
So far it hasn't happened again, so it seems to be a one-time thing.

After a quick search, this seems to be the same as Debian bug #665504
(see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=665504). I have
tested with the patch from John Vogel, and it works.
Another thing to remember is that this error will also happen if you try
to run xsensors without lm-senso
So far just one time. Will come back in a day or two after I run some
more, and rebooted a couple of times.
