Actually the playlist problem (flac issue) is also fixed. You just have
to readd those cue files that were added to playlist before update to
version 2.4~beta2-0ubuntu1.

That is a separate bug and still exists in version 2.4~beta2-0ubuntu1
I also have this problem. The problem occur only when I use pulseaudio.
I guess this is a pulseaudio problem, not a problem with ALSA.
