This problem affects me too. I'm using ubuntu 12.04 Beta and when I try
to play any video, the session is closed and the login screen shows. The
workaround shown by norberto solved the problem for me.

I have two monitors setup and the unity launcher stay on the left of
right monitor, then being positioned in the middle off the composed
screen. It's very annoying because sometimes i accidentally move the
mouse pointer to the left monitor when trying to show the launcher in
the right screen makin
