Public bug reported:
The bug has something to do with the file associations and files in the
tempdir directory. It started right after I upgraded from Ubuntu 21.04
to 21.10.
I have PDF files associated with Firefox. When I double-click them
from, say, Thunderbird (my mail program), the file sho
I just noticed the original bug was for the previous version of Ubuntu.
Be that as it may - the bug still exists.

I reported this bug in the first cut of ubuntu 11.04 beta. It was
corrected with a subsequent updates BUT it appears again.
It's a funky little bug - eclipse would crash every now and then when
Ctrl-V (Paste) was used, then it would always crash with Ctrl-V, then
crash when any key was pressed,
after several reboots and removal/installs of eclipse. eclipse continued
to crash as soon as it started.
This morning it started up and the gui was presented until I moved the
mouse pointer over the screen and then it immediately died.
See attached hs err pid file. Looks like the same problem -
