If this were an issue with the security model instead of FF, then how
come the links work when copied into the location bar?
The way I deal with this bug is this:
1. Un-install firefox-3.0-gnome-support package
2. in about:config I add the string "network.protocol-handler.app.smb" with the
value
Same thing happened to me after I updated firefox (the windows version
running on top of wine) to the version 3.0. The plugin of ABC had to be
installed again (is not flash by the way) and then the above described
issue appeared.
