I decided to research a way to modify the deb as there has not been much
activity on resolving this issue. I extracted the deb and change it's
dependencies to look for aufs-source instead of aufs-modules. I then rebuilt
it. My work has been attached.

The BIOS option above is not listed on the Optiplex 740 BIOS. Holding
down the ENTER does not work either for the 740. Is there going to be a
fix for this or will we have to wait for the next release of Ubuntu?

after reviewing other bugs in regards to live CDs and other packages, I
found that apparmor does not work well with stacked and read only files
systems. A work around for this bug is to either disable for remove
apparmor.
