I was totally lost this whole weekend trying to figure out why, even
after replacing my motherboard, these two Green Western Digital 1TB hard
drives would not be detected by my OS ( natty ) or by the live dvd. I
followed Kazriko's advice of booting with pci=nomsi kernel option and
everything works.

Do we know what the actual impact of this bug is, aside from the text in
jockey? Are the drivers actually not in use, or is it just jockey
failing to detect the drivers being in use?
