Not sure why, I am setting nameserver (to 127.0.0.1) and search
parameters. This works fine but when I restart the settings have gone.
Not really sure where to start investigating this problem, I can't even
work out where NetworkManager st

FWIW I am seeing this same problem using a final release cd (alternate
i386). Running vgchange -a y manually I can see:
~ # vgchange -a y /dev/raid
Rendezvous with udev timed out for 'raid-music'; stat fail
Disabling the composite extension fixes this for me:
Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "false"
EndSection
This is of course just a workaround...

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
When running the nvidia proprietry drivers on my amd64 installation of
ubuntu edgy, with xinerama enabled over 3 monitors (2 cards) gnome-
terminal won't run.
I understand this may be to do with the nvidia driver but there is an x
error so
