Saving a new file, or saving a file with a new name brings up a save
dialog that is missing text. There are three checkboxes below the
"filter" text box, but no indication of what the options are.

Yep, I've been going crazing trying to figure out what I did to change
the behavior. At least I now know that it wasn't me. I'd really like the
old behavior back.

I'm just a simple user, but it seems to me that I only had the problem
because I was trying to print a document larger than the printer paper.
Once I discovered the setting and formatted the document appropriately I
was able to print with no more crash reports going off.
