I still have this problem on Kubuntu 10.10.
After a while the clock gets stuck to 800Mhz; no way to change it.
Sometimes it recovers for a while, then after a while it gets again
stuck at 800 Mhz (the minimum).
My pc is a Dell XPS 1330.
