After testing again i must confirm that is not fixed. As i wrote my
comment to close this bug i did not saw that the wlan module were not
loaded. If the modules were not loaded the led will not blink but if
they were loaded the led is blinking.

With the last kernel update on ubuntu jaunty a few days ago the
wlan/bluetooth led is not blinking anymore when i switch off wlan. It is
disabled as it should. I have now kernel 2.6.28-13-generic installed.

The program ripps some tracks and than after a while it hangs and
consumes 100 % on one core.

With the kernel from jaunty (2.6.28-11 i think) it works. In the output
from dmesg are a lot of I/O error messages printed out but the device
could be mounted and is read and writable.

second battery. If i remove it, cpufreqd will not crash anymore.

I have tried to reproduce the error but i got another error with german
umlauts. It seems to not be possible to copy the output of the log
screen to the clipboard but i found the log file (html?). On the
standard output the following message where shown:

Today i got the same problem with the auto generated xorg.conf. But i
have not changed it manualy to 'vesa'.
I can start the machine several times without a problem. but somtimes i
get this error. There can be some days between.
