I still have the same issue on Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS with the XFCE Desktop.
Removing the ~/.gnome2/keyrings/ helps but the problem comes again
after a few days.

I do some work on it and it was a problem in mounting root fs that was
in log and now I think we need to fix some files or reinstall update. or
something didn't installed correctly.

Due to the nature of the issue I have encountered I am unable to access
my laptop while running this kernel. I can't login and the screen is

but I started Skype (which added its icon to the systray) and I had the

I made a mistake in the previous post : 'to make SURE X won't crash'.
I also changed enabled=0 to enabled=1 in /etc/default/apport and
uncommented the last line in /lib/udev/rules.d/40-xserver-xorg-video-
intel.rules (and then rebooted the computer) but apport wasn't triggered
by the X crash.

started a GNOME session and X hasn't crashed yet (nothing else changed).
