I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 since it came out, but are effected by this bug only
since two weeks.
What I noticed: I have a couple of programs setup to start automatically (via
gnome-session-properties). When I log in and get kicked out because of this
bug, those programs where never started at all. O
I'm also using smbstatus to power of my server, if it's not in use, but
this bug prevents it.
I created this workaround script to ping the ip's (only ipv4) that
smbstatus reports, it reports the ip's as "online" or "offline". One
could also alter the script so the output is exactly like "smbstatus
No Citrix for me! This was only removed by an update last two weeks or
so?
Tried to reinstall and got:

I do not have UbuntuOne in my context menu yet I still have the annoying
ribbon. I expect you will say 'install UbuntuOne, use context menu,
then remove UbuntuOne', but I am afraid to. I have Maverick 10.10.

I don't use firefox but I came here to say that Nanny and twistd are
eating up 2G of my memory! Restarting the service frees the memory.
I'm still on Ubuntu Maverick.

not equal "). Select United Kingdom as your keyboard but don't select a
variant i.e. Add, Select United KIngdom - you're done.
