Also, I just discovered that when turning off "scale to fit" in the
print driver & in Adobe Reader, then Adobe prints my sample doc fine,
but Evince & printing directly with HPLIP cut off the top & bottom.
Converting to a .ps file (with Adobe) & then printing with lpr also cuts
off the top & bottom
I can reproduce this on 10.04. Margins are too large and some of the
output is cut off. The problem occurs with Evince as well as with Adobe
Reader 9, although it's slightly worse with Adobe Reader, and much worse
with Adobe Reader when Page Scaling is set to Fit to Printable Area.

I haven't been able to print duplex on my HP printer. The first page
prints but nothing else comes through. Printing one sided works.
It seems that this is coming from ghostscript segfaulting when run the
way cups runs it (namely with the -dDuplex
I'm having the same problem with Ubuntu 8.10, but with an HP Photosmart
P1100 with a duplex attachment. In the printer config,
(system->administration->printing), it quite nicely comes up with the
printer when I plug it into the USB port, even maintaining the duplex
setting I selected the first ti
Fooling around with it some more, I found the printer defaulting to the
cdj550 driver. When I changed it to the hpijs driver, duplex started
working properly.
