Many times, it hangs up. I am using IMAP and Exchange accounts (not my
choice). When it hangs, I have to force-kill it. Then to open Evolution
again, I have to log-off from my account. I tried to kill it with
killall and even with
kill $(ps ax

I wanted to initiate a new database using
initdb -D /newdir
The prompt would always tell me it could not find the command. After a while (a
day or two; I'm not an expert) I realised that most probably the reason would
be that the initdb

I know this has been closed. I don't think it should, since many people
are affected by this. Today, I found the post with a probable solution.
It seems, indeed that it has to do with the SOFT and HARD locks. The

modifications in both pulseaudio and Audacity which have let me record
very well. I lost my USB drive, and I am using a laptop now in which
recording has no issues. We should close this as fixed

I was running wicd instead of network-manager. I uninstalled wicd and
reinstalled network-manager, recreated the
sudo nano /etc/pm/config.d/madwifi

Hello, it also affects me if I enable (f) the color filter. I ran this
from the terminal:
> compiz --restart
I had the compiz configuration window opened, so I just enabled the color
filter (checkbox) and proceeded with the f and got this:
compiz --replace
Checking for Xgl: not present.
