did u try the values..when the movie window was minimized??
else it won't work..
btw I also tried gxvattrthe graphical version of xvattr..
same problem..now values get reset on reboot..

permanent??Like executing a command whenever Xv is
well for me...after lotsa experimenting..
I found out tht all i needed to do was
xvattr -a XV_GAMMA5 -v 0xbb
this did the trick..
But I have a doubt..each time I start Totem,the values get reset.
How do I make them permanent??

It was all fine on Breezy.
I upgraded to Dapper yesterday..
When I opened TV or any video avi/mpeg whatever,
I noticed some difference..
The RED values of the Video were bleeding.
I mean..there is too much red for too less of
Green and BLUE.

corrected it by unchecking every other res. except 1024X768
the most comf. for me..
Even now..every now and then...the Text size at login changes at will..

Breezy FINE...
But I installed Dapper to find that all my videos
and TV(in TVTIME) play with a RED / Orange ish bleeding
color..
Its like they reflect off the color..or something..
