Thanks Steve for your quick response. I'm attaching the /var/lib/dpkg/info/ftp.list to this report. From the look of it I think my ftp.list is replaced by some picture. I also noticed ftp.postinst and ftp.prerm are also image files. Kindly let me know how to resolve this issue. It will be very help
