When doing a:
sudo apt-get install qdvdauthor
you don't get any of the tools that are actually needed for making the dvd.
That makes the application useless untill you install these dependencies. THe
dependencies should be included so that qdvdauthor "just works".

Ok I tried removing splash and quiet and got to loading a bit further. It loads
100% of Linux Kernel and then freeze at "Loading /casper/initrd.gz" and there
are no error messages.
But strangely if i leave the boot options there it (sometimes) proceed to 24 %.

My laptop fails to boot the kubuntu feisty cd. Edgy booted fine. Ubuntu
feisty cd also boots fine.
The cd boots to the menu where is select "Start Kubuntu or install". At
that point the little "loading" text appears and the computer hangs.
Once in a while it get to around 74%
My kopete is also very slow to start. I have disabled the history
plugin. Still slow. There is no output in terminal(at all)

I can confirm the problem with amarok 1.4.4 on Kubuntu 6.10.
I am using nfs, so maybe the problem relates to filesystems other than
ext3 and the other "normal" ones.
