I can also reproduce this. I'm using ubuntu 11.04 and the classic gnome.
When i press alt + space all the the title bars dissapear. Very
annoying. See the image attached

It happens to me also, after 20-30 min working on ubuntu 11.04 with the
lastest updated. With Gnome clasic (no unity). Also im using a radeon HD
4870 with privative drivers. the "unity --replace&" command didnt work
for me.
