Unable to run memtest as it was not available in Grub Menu.
Problem was caused by a dodgy SSD. Changed to a standard HDD install went
smoothly.

Thank you for letting me know the situation.
If I had realised the Ubuntu Maverick was so close to EOL I would not have
bothered filing the bug report. The bug was found purely by chance and was
obviously not of major importance and did not impact on the performance of
Ubuntu or the enjoyment of

On two occasions when playing 'clock' the game has ended with the 'you
have won' message when there are still cards to be revealed. This
happens when there is only one card left in one or more piles to be
revealed and the last king has been found.

Thank you for responding to my problem, this has now been sorted.
I did a re-install and chose to install the adobe flash plugin and everything
appears to be working as it should
