Ctrl+C works by initiating the resume action.
This bug left me in an unbootable state because of a syntax error in
xorg.conf. I was forced to use an external recovery live CD to recover.
The solution was to remove friendly-recovery. Now I have root prompt
with read-write privileges.

packages for kde4.1.1 are advertised, that the packages are personal and
the kubuntu team does not even take bug reports.

I have not being able to use the extended characters on Greek keyboard,
despite having correct locale settings, and being able to use them
