if emacs is started from a terminal the menu stays attached to emacs
window and all latex items are there. However, if it is started from the
unity dash (i.e. by pressing Super, typing emacs and hitting enter), the
resulting window will have a global menu with latex things missing.

Dear Leann,
I've sorted this out. The problem was in fact in incorrect swap
partition UUID in /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume. I think this
happened due to me recreating the swap. It would be quite nice if
initramfs-tools could track such changes, but nevertheless I'm pleased
to confirm that hi

please find dmesg and lspci logs attached. Please note that I am not booting
after hibernate attempt now, it's just a usual boot. Do you want me to send you

I'm able to lock the screen if the shortcut is set to Ctrl-Alt-L, but
nothing happens when it's set to WIn-R (SuperR as it displays). It was
working in 8.04
