Same problem.
If trash is empty, then when i delete any file, hdd is busy for about 30s (in
my case).
After that , when delete another file, everything work fast.

Patch work form me (HP NX9420), but when press power button to revert
from suspend mode, my laptop power on but after that go back to suspend
mode. After press again, laptop come back from suspend like is expected.
Packages:
light-locker-settings 1.2.1-0ubuntu2~trusty~ppa4
xfce4-power-manager
I can confirm!!!
To recover from black screen: "xrandr --auto" blind in terminal opened with
super+t
To get mouse working: ctrl+alt+f1 then ctrl+alt+f7

slow speed on my wifi intel 3945ABG
wifi card spec:
10:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG

System: Linux Mint Kathya
Kernel: 2.6.38-14-generi
I confirm that. Libreoffice default font are some grey color (strange anyway).
In math equation characters are also grey and cannot be change.
How resolve:
Need to change default color for fonts to Black in Writer:Tools -> Options
-> Appearance -> Font Color
Thus, it will be written in black,
Same problem with intel 3945ABG and kernel 2.38.11
Followed instructions from post #352 with compat-wireless-2011-03-29 and seem
to work ok now.

Same problem. Network with wifi very slow after upgrade kernel to 2.6.38-10
This problem don't occur with kernel 2.6.38-8. Unfortunately i remove old
kernel. Now i use lan, because wifi it's paintful.
Spec:
System: HP NX9420, 2Gb ram
OS: Ubuntu 11.04, amd64
wifi: intel 3945ABG
