Still facing this problem:
Can not use ubuntu one in a corporate network behind a proxy.
I can not even connect this machine with my ubuntu one account.

It is not really very useful to have too many screensavers when you want to
change it for the first time.
I remember trying many of them before deciding which one to use the first time
i used ubuntu.

Yes, i put "hda1" by hand as the GRUB device.
It was not so obvious to write "/dev/hda1" because the default option was
"(hd0)".
