I've had this problem since Breezy on my Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M7440G.
It sounds like a hard shutdown. It worked on one kernel version in
Dapper other than that it hasn't worked properly.

occurring few days ago. System freezes for about 60s on boot. I checked
what was happening booting in recovery mode. It freezes for 60s when it
says Configuring network interfaces. After the 60s the boot continu
