for me confirm that on a Thinkpad T61.
kernel 2.6.24-19 suspends and hibernate working,
kernel 2.6.24-20 doesn't.

my wifi LED previously light up with thinkpad t61 while im follow the
tutorial in

after upgrade to kernel to 2.6.24-20-generic from hardy-proposed repo,
