I'm a dev. from WTactics.org and we love to use Inkscape for plenty of
our stuff. This issue is indeed a bug: While not a technical one and in
the words true meaning, it's a human one beyond all logic. It shouldn't
be on a "wishlist" - it's like lacking mouse or fill support in Inkscape
