Hi,
I don't get which report you would like me to do (I don't understand most of 
this programing). If you would like me create a report, please give me a 
commanline to use :).
When I reinstalled ubuntu, I used the old wubi-file I already had on my 
computer, thus I got the 11.10 version to start with. Then I updated to 12.04 
LTS, using the updater.
I don't know about partitions and such things.

All I know is that now the sound works (and I hope it will stay).
