i will monitor if this happens, just ran an update and have a new
kernel, will resubmit problem if this reoccurs, i suggest closing this
one

same problem on my lenovo,
bypass is to kill the network manager with command: "sudo killall
NetworkManager".
The daemon re-starts and the network is restored.

same issue on Lenovo X220, returning from suspend (clsing the laptop
lid), there is a random screen content but it is impossible to enter the
password and to logon, only recovery for me is to reboot th system: not
good

Affects me too, looking for older bugs i found one on 13.03 that looks similar:

My working bypass is to issue a "sudo killall NetworkManager" after resuming
and this works again (trying just to touch the sleep parameter does nt fix the
problem)
