I can confirm I cannot run wireless N with the patch. Without the patch,
wireless doesn't work at all. I'm running ubuntu 12.10 on a macmini
2012.

I haven't used Unity for months because of that. My fix so far is using
Gnome Shell with a couple of useful extensions and a different theme. I
got used to it and haven't had any crash since. It's unfortunate because
I really liked Unity but now I'm a Gnome 3 convert... Haven't looked

I had to uninstall Ubuntu One and all associated packages so my CPU Utilization
went back to normal.
I reinstalled Ubuntu One and notice the package "desktopcouch-ubuntuone" wasn't
installed this time. I suspect it was the one causing the high utilization.

I'm having the same problem however I'm using an Atheros ath9 wireless
card. It works for a day and then next day I lose connectivity. The wifi
card continues loaded with a static IP Address assigned to it but I
cannot connect to anything.
I tried to whitelist ath_pci on /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-
I can confirm adding "AddressFamily inet" to sshd_config fixed the
problem for me after a SSH restart:
$ echo $DISPLAY
localhost:10.0

I'm having the exact same problem after upgrading to Karmic. I've used
Ubuntu since Feisty and this is the first time I ever experienced
problems with X forwarding on SSH. It worked fine on Jaunty. Basically
I'm experiencing the same issues as reported:

$ echo $DISPLAY
