my partition layout basic:
ubuntu-mate@ubuntu-mate:~$ sudo fdisk -l

Public bug reported:
A window pops up and goes away stating failed to add cd apt sources.
Installer then says Install completed. I chose continue testing to
investigate if it had indeed installed. Upon clicking continue testing
window stays and the debug agent pops up auto. This is on an Inspiron
I am having the same issues as well. Not sure if it is with the kernel
(maybe in my case 3.5rc)...
