[Bug 1018724] Re: rhythmbox stops playing songs after one second

2013-07-20 Thread dst
I hadn't had this issue with 12.10. I didn't notice until recently, that with 13.04 Totem stopped playing audio after 1 second. Switching off visualizations solved it for me. Thanks, Jonathan! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to

[Bug 1001998] Re: Wireless Switch doesn't recover wireless

2012-08-12 Thread dst
Oddly enough, for me it now once failed either way. The hardware switch only re-enabled sony-wifi but not phy0, therefore rfkill was no help and I could only unblock by rebooting. However, I could not reproduce the problem. @Danilo: Isn't it obvious from what benste wrote? Hardware killswitch usua

Maybe the necessity to disable and re-enable NM in order to reactivate wireless connections once the devices have been unblocked is a bug of its own. Here's some more interesting output: sudo rfkill event # initially: 1341508858.670966: idx 0 type 1 op 0 soft 0 hard 0 1341508858.671014: idx 1 typ

I believe I had this problem, too. But now with 3.2.0-26 the wireless switch *usually* works for my sony vaio. However, if I disable wireless via NetworkManager, I can't switch it back on. NetworkManager obviously causes the device to be hard blocked, but refuses to reenable due to hard block. In t

I had the same output in my pm-powersave logfile and the patch seems to have cured it. Unfortunately, suspend to ram still does not work for me. @Linrunner, can you tell me more about sata compatible mode? I don't know which mode my sata controller is in and I did not put in in compatible mode on

[Bug 449648] Re: Synchronization via Tomboy web (Ubuntu One server) fails.

2010-01-07 Thread dst
I get the same error message as Chuck. This bug makes Tomboy heavily unusable to me. Duplication into new notes and removing the original ones allows for synchronisation (at least once). It seems, as if Ubuntu One hid certain files from the UI, because the syncing fails with specific filenames. E

I can confirm it using Ubuntu 9.10 and nm-applet version 0.7.996 It is especially annoying in a situation like this: I often can chose between several wireless networks, of which one automatically is chosen. If I manually switch to another, it sometimes fails to connect and then reconnects to th
