Yes, have to agree with LKaestner. Although the panel is gone, the
presentation have issues with image and animation rendering. They behave
strangely while I was presenting yesterday. Have to revert back to
metacity and disable compiz.

Yes, at this moment, disabling desktop effect is an option. But NOT for new
user of OOO 3.2 in Lucid.
Hope that it can be fixed asap.

For me, I don't think it's FF3 problem. It's network-manager's problem.
I could get connected to internet through PPPoE and browse normally with
FF3, but network-manager applet failed to detect it as connected.
Solution (maybe temporary) with Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10:
1. remove network-manager
sudo ap
it's just happened today. After upgrading to 8.10 since 1st of Nov, FF
was behaving fine. I have disable Javascript that allow the resizing
windows and restarted FF, but problem recurred.
Did full uninstall and reinstallation of FF 3, but still not able to get
the windows frame with FF.
