IT happens for mee on Hardy and INtrepid too, at least for some of the
numbers...I've always wondered why. I think it might have happened to me
in Debian Lenny as well.

Hope it gets fixed soon, because ever since I updated earlier today (it
dragged in a new ia32-libs), I'm unable to use Skype, Firefox 32 Bit,
Flash, Prism (32 bit) and Unreal Tournamentglad it's already been
reported and being worked on :)

ls: cannot access libflashsupport.so: No such file or directory

I installed it manually from the Adobe site, and I can't find a
libflashsupport.so in ~/.mozilla or ~/.adobe, and it has to be in my
home folder because I didn't install it as root. When it's manually
installed it gives the same results as flashplugin-nofree does...

This exact thing is hapenning to me too, both on the old flashplugin,
the one that just got updated, and the one from Adobe's website, and it
happens on Firefox...and Seamonkey!! It's not just Firefox that's the
problem...

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree
Well, often when I load something using Flash (Youtube is the main one,
but it's happened at other sites too), the browser crashes with a
segfault. I've tried semonkey and firefox, with the exact same results.
I just upgraded the flash
Yeah, if you have desktop cube on, the quickest way is to just middle

It's because Microsoft made their own proprietary file system for
burning CDs...typical. Tell him to change the option to Mastered instead
of Live File System, or use a different burning program. More info:

Same in Hardy 8.04 Beta with all the latest updates. I wonder why you
can change pretty much everything except the System menu...seems weird,
and probably not too hard to fix.

This bug is confirmed here in Oregon in the US too. Everyone I know uses
Windows, and a few use Mac. Only the people in my family use Linux as
far as I know. Luckily, Dell sells laptops preinstalled with Ubuntu now,
but not many people know that. There's also System76, but again, very

I'm using Hardy with all the latest updates. When I run a program that
needs administrative privileges or I use gksu, after I type my password,
the screen still stays dark. I'm guessing this is a bug with compiz,
because it works fine with compiz d
