Having the same problem here on my D600. Goes to sleep fine when the lid
is closed, but when it is opened back up, the screen remains off and
unresponsive to any keyboard shortcuts I try. Has anyone tried a
different distro that has 2.6.32, and found the same problem?

You could use alextud's patch above, but it seems like a hassle to fully
recompile Thunar just to fix this little bug.
I've never had this problem before, it must have something to do with
GNOME 2.22, because back on Gutsy I was running a backported version of
Thunar 0.9.0. :/

Umm, my DeskJet 710C still isn't working, even with the fixed packages
provided. And I don't want to have to print to the LaserJet on the other
side of my house all day. :(
