I am not sure if this is related, or if it requires its own bug report,
but my laptop (LENOVO_MT_20FB_BU_Think_FM_ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th) does
not turn back on after initializing the suspend mode running Kubuntu
24.04.
After entering the suspend mode the LED on the power button starts
blinking, wh
I am having the same problem on the same laptop running Kubuntu 24.04.
To add to the conversation I would like to mention that restarting is
not an issue for me, whereas when i try to shut down my laptop I am
having the same issues as described in the previous comments.

Disconnecting the OpenVPN client NetworkManager is not sending the
SIGTERM[soft,remote-exit] to the OpenVPN server, like other clients are
doing.
This behaviour is because the explicit-exit-notify option is currently
not supported.
The OpenVPN server then tries to reconnect to the client:
