I also tried very hard to get this type of setup working without much
sucess
2x nvidia cards. (Different versions ex.. 1 is 265gtx and the other cheap
8600 i beleive)
3 monitors.
at best I could get 2 monitors on same car using xinerama and 1 stand
alone x.

Yes this situation is still persistant, everytime I install something or
do the upgrades I get the errors for Mythtv. I didnt want to
restinstall from scrach but I think I might need to.. This is an
English build.

I did a little investigation and found the functions required are only
loaded when using configure
they are in . /usr/share/debconf/confmodule
Could this be my issue ?

Im I just supposed to run this with not arguments? I put the set -x but
I see it need some arguments $1 in that script.

Sorry I didnt have time too much to play with this lately.
I did notice one thing. everytime I try to upgrade or install a program
i get this
E: mythtv-common: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit
status 30
E: mythtv-database: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

I had some NFS mounts but not where this is installed. It must have
something to do with either the upgrade or the combination of me moving
my home to seperate partition just before upgrade.
Mythtv seems to work ok its just when i install something synaptic seems
to try to upgrade or check mythtv
